Is VectorOS a law firm?

Two entities, deliberately separate. Legal services are provided by Vector Legal, P.C., a licensed California law firm. The platform is built by Vector Systems, PBC. A technology company can't practise law, so the work and the software are held by different companies.

Yes. Any matter, draft or review can be escalated to senior counsel at any point, carrying its full history with it. You set the priority and the turnaround, and the sign-off attaches to the matter so the next person to open it sees why it went the way it did.

How is our data protected?

Everything is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with modern TLS, with keys on a managed rotation. Access is limited to the people staffed on your matter, isolation is matter-level, and every action is written to an audit log you can produce later.

Mail, files and signatures stay in step with the record wherever the work starts. VectorOS connects to Slack, Outlook, DocuSign and NetDocuments.

Yes. Redlines come back as a marked document with track changes that exports straight to Word, and the data room holds your files in an indexed, permissioned structure you can grant access to at any time.

No. VectorOS is software published by Vector Systems, PBC. Legal services are provided separately by Vector Legal, P.C., and legal-service deliverables from the firm are reviewed by licensed attorneys. The software supports the workflow and record; legal judgement stays with counsel.
